Good for an iPhone Viewfinder
I retract my last review - I hadnt thought the app through clearly enough. It does what it can with the iPhone. For lenses longer than the phones camera it is decent (there is of course a loss of image quality when zoomed in for long lenses, which is unavoidable). For lenses wider than the camera, it adds a lens distortion effect, and then blacks out areas of the screen where the phone cant pick up what the lens it is simulating would. The problem with this is that it isnt useful for framing, as you are seeing only a piece of the image (and with some lenses a very small piece). And the phone camera isnt very wide - I couldnt go as wide as 24mm with ultra primes on a Digital 35mm without losing some of the frame. In my mind not useful enough to be worth the money, but well-made for what it is.
